PRESS RELEASE
KLN FURNITURE GRANTED PATENT FOR “EZ LOFT™”

SAN ANTONIO, TX; APRIL 17, 2007: KLN Furniture is proud to announce that the patent for the EZ Loft™ System for the Ironwood Next line of residence hall beds has been awarded by the United States Patent Office.

The EZ Loft™ device is a one piece, expandable lofting device which easily creates a lofted bed configuration when used with the KLN Ironwood Next XTBB30 bed. The benefits of the expandable design are that no tools are required to loft the bed, ease of reconfiguration, small storage footprint, and the elimination of excess and lost parts.

“Our customers have overwhelmingly chosen the EZ Loft™ system in residence hall situations requiring simple lofting for the same reasons the US Patent Office has awarded this recognition. The unique design and functionality of the product is seen as a significant benefit to schools and their student residents.” said Jeff Mitchell, VP of Sales & Marketing-Commercial for KLN Furniture.
